Assessment is competency based and meets the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF 2007).

Assessment reflects the individual needs of course participants and assessment methods may include:

• demonstration and practical application of skills
• verbal or written responses to structured questions
• tasks or assignments (in small groups)

Participants assessed as competent receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment displaying the units or units of competency achieved.
