Assessment and Certification

Assessment is competency based and meets the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).

Assessment reflects the individual needs of course participants. Assessment methods may include:

  • Demonstration and practical application of skills
  • Verbal or written responses to structured questions
  • Tasks or assignments (in small groups)
Participants assessed as competent receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment displaying the unit or units of competency achieved.


Keep your first aid skills up to date.
  • Renew your CPR, oxygen and defibrillation training annually
  • Renew your Level 1 First Aid, Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training every three years
  • Complete twice yearly Anaphylaxis staff briefings
We can also conduct your staff Anaphylaxis briefing updates onsite.
